This is Janet from Malaysia. I am a university student learning digital media. I love adventure and studying abroad can be seen as the adventure of my lifetime. This unexpected journey provides me with great opportunities to explore new places and cultures. Also, it inspired me to start blogging, which allows me to not only document my life but also have conversations with myself. As an outgoing introvert and positive person, it is hard to find someone I can share everything with, thus this is the best place for me to share what I feel comfortable sharing.
This illustration is actually a photograph of my sister’s backside taken by me when sending her off at the airport for study abroad, which means a lot to me. The reason for sharing this image with you is to remind every overseas student about the initial intention of studying abroad and the promises we make to the ones we love before studying abroad by recalling the scene of saying goodbye to loved ones at the airport. Studying abroad is not easy, but we will definitely be grateful for being determined and persistent when looking back on our study abroad journey someday.
